The Stanley House of L.O.V.E. (SHoL.O.V.E.) was founded on the principles and practices of Martha Stanley who departed this life on August 30, 2007. We continue the legacy of Martha Stanley, a community activist and advocate for youth and families who inspired through music, education and the arts. Mrs. Stanley changed the lives of countless families by providing purposeful opportunities for success and life enrichment. Since our inception in February 2008, we have worked diligently to provide financial support and needed resources to families and the community at large. One of our main goals is to provide resources for students to succeed in higher education and beyond. Since August 2013, we have provided over $10,000 in community volunteer activities, scholarships and resources to college and high school students, as well as opportunities and exposure for elementary and middle school students to engage in volunteer activities. Another very important lesson received from Ms. Stanley was to appreciate and honor people. We honor those men and women who give selflessly in their profession and go above and beyond the call of duty to make a difference in the lives of others. These honorees are nominated by their peers, family, colleagues or anyone who is aware of their activities. During the Annual Holiday Concert we bestow upon these honorees The SHoL.O.V.E. award of excellence, as a way to give back to the community and honor those who do the same.

We are inspired to continue this work, by our recipients, volunteers and by you, our family and friends who support our mission. As you have inspired us to continue this work, we hope we continue to provide opportunities that inspire you to continue supporting us as we serve our community through Life Opportunity Vision Experience simply L.O.V.E.
